Nicole Malachowski, retired U.S. Air Force Colonel and the first woman Thunderbird pilot, exemplifies turning life’s toughest challenges into purposeful actions that enrich communities. After a distinguished military career cut short by neurological Tick-Borne Illness, Nicole channeled her experience into advocating passionately for increased education, improved diagnostic capabilities, and comprehensive treatment for Lyme Disease and related illnesses. Her journey highlights the profound impact of resilience, innovation, and the power of connection, principles deeply embedded in GM’s values and the Supplier of the Year ethos.
